A new pipeline in the north of the Isle of Man will benefit Jurby village, Manx Utilities says.

The event sees scores of bikers dressed as Santa raise money for the Manx children’s Hospice.

Paul Shanley ran through the summer heatwave and the recent icy snap to raise more than £2,000.

Commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of D-Day will take place in St John’s and Douglas.
