The current “quiet room” for Manx patients is set to close as part of a Liverpool Airport revamp.

The changes will see more families eligible for maintenance loans whilst tuition fee grants are reduced.

The move is hoped to maintain Castletown’s popularity with tourists and boost local businesses.

Limited diabetes staff will not affect appointments but may impact phone services, Manx Care says.
