Patients not attending scheduled visits to doctors cost the health service £470,000, Manx Care says.

The out-of-hours doctors service had to close overnight on Sunday and Monday due to staff illness.

Civil servant Scott Wilson tops the polls in the Onchan by-election, which saw a turnout of 10.34%.

The service is being made available following the death of 14-year-old Christopher McBurnie.
