Bringing sheep, cattle and goats into the Isle of Man is banned after five cases are found in Kent.

Motorists are warned to expect disruption on some routes as 1,100 people take on the annual walk.

Manx resident Brigadier Norman Butler says the fallen, survivors and their families will be honoured.

The new rules would see Manx families required to work more hours to receive low income benefits.
