A number of people on the Isle of Man say they will need to make cuts to afford the hike in bills.

Extra funding will see some cancelled non-urgent procedures reinstated by Manx Care.

The Manx chief constable says the move is part of steps to “dismantle” the island’s organised crime.

The first closure from 09:30 BST will be in place for a week before work moves to a second section.
