Large crowds gather in St John’s for Tynwald Day’s open-air ceremony and traditional activities.

A four-week programme of resurfacing work will take place in the Santon area of New Castletown Road.

The plans will see the garage in Ballasalla redeveloped to include a deli, butcher and larger shop.

Manx Utilities said steeplejacks would assess and secure the damaged flue cap over the weekend.
