Forecasters say “significant amounts of snow” are likely to fall on higher ground from late Saturday.

The road at Braddan Bridge will be made one-way on weekdays and closed at weekends for three weeks.

The scheduled works will see the A4 close during the day between Peel and Kirk Michael until Friday.
