A planning application to replace a kiosk at the landmark site is withdrawn by a heritage body.

The Manx government says it has had confirmation of no record of a conversation about a new site.

The money is donated to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s appeals in Pakistan and Afghanistan.

The local authority says the site will be refurbished before being put out to tender for a tenant.
