The 84 acre solar farm near Castletown could power more than 7,500 homes a year, developers say.

Garff Commissioners lodge their opposition to plans for a new entrance at the landmark site.

Proposals would remove exemptions for dangerous or dilapidated buildings to encourage redevelopment.

The move would allow for “increased joint working” with police, the Isle of Man government says.
