The River Buddies group hopes to tidy up the water and river banks in the countryside and glens.

More than 300 entrants sign to up take on the charity fun run around the streets of Douglas.

The planned outage will go ahead on Tuesday after engineers’ travel to the island was disrupted.

The risk to pupils is low but steps are being taken to address the problem, Manx government says.
